Significant Change in Coverage If there is a significant change in coverage (including cost) of your benefits, this is considered a qualifying life event, which means you can make mid-year enrollment changes without having to wait for Open Enrollment. Click here to view the Summary Plan Descriptions for each of American Greeting’s Benefit Plans for more details on the impact of your benefits due to a qualified life event. If you want to make changes to your benefits, log into myAGBenefits or call the AGBenefits Service Center at (877) 213-6240. Health Care Coverage/Dental/Vision If you need to change your benefit elections due to a life event change, you may add or drop coverage. For example, if there is a significant change in the cost of health care coverage or a spouse with a different open enrollment period, you may elect to make changes to your coverage. You have up to 30 days after the qualifying event to make the change. Flexible Spending Accounts You may want to make a change to your Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) election if there is a significant change in coverage. You have up to 30 days after the qualifying event to make the change to the amount you are depositing. You may not make changes to your Health Care Flexible Spending Account. Life & AD&D Insurance You may want to make a change to your Life and AD&D Insurance if there is a significant change in coverage. You have up to 30 days after the qualifying event to make the change.
